CONTEXTO DA UNIVERSIDADE CRUZEIRO DO SUL NO RANKING

Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul consolidou sua presença no cenário global de sustentabilidade acadêmica por meio DA participação de seles e rankings nacionais e internacionais, entre eles o UI GreenMetric World University Ranking. Este sistema de classificação, estabelecido pela Universidade da Indonésia em 2010, avalia o compromisso das instituições de ensino superior com a gestão ambiental e a infraestrutura sustentável.

Ressalta-se que na última edição (2025), a Universidade manteve sua participação, chegando aos seguintes dados de desempenho.

A Instituição alcançou a 2ª posição entre as instituições privadas da cidade de São Paulo e a 7ª colocada no estado. Globalmente, registrou a pontuação total de 1.662,5 pontos.

Para a composição desta pontuação, os indicadores do ranking analisam pesos nas áreas de infraestrutura (SI – 495 pontos), energia e mudanças climáticas (EC – 170 pontos), resíduos (WS – 225 pontos), água (WR – 122,5 pontos), transporte (TR – 250 pontos) e educação ambiental (ED – 400 pontos).

Cruzeiro do Sul University has consolidated its presence in the global academic sustainability landscape through its participation in national and international seals and rankings, including the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking. This classification system, established by the University of Indonesia in 2010, evaluates the commitment of higher education institutions to environmental management and sustainable infrastructure.

It is noteworthy that in the latest edition (2025), the University maintained its participation, reaching the following performance data.

The Institution achieved 2nd place among private institutions in the city of São Paulo and 7th place in the state. Globally, it recorded a total score of 1,662.5 points.

1. Configuração e Infraestrutura (SI): Avalia a porcentagem de área verde e a preservação do espaço aberto no campus.

2. Energia e Mudanças Climáticas (EC): Foca na eficiência energética, uso de fontes renováveis e redução da pegada de carbono.

3. Resíduos (WS): Analisa o tratamento e a reciclagem de resíduos sólidos e tóxicos.

4. Água (WR): Mede o uso racional, programas de reciclagem e conservação da água.

5. Transporte (TR): Avalia políticas para redução de veículos privados e incentivo ao transporte público e mobilidade ativa.
